They said it was madness. They said it was unthinkable. They said you just can’t release downloadable content for a videogame. Well, they were wrong. The boys at Rare have recently turned heads with the claim that yes, DLC is indeed possible for Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts.

Rare’s lead technical artist Neill Harrison has CONFIRMED that Banjo DLC is POSSIBLE, and that they ARE not THINKING ABOUT IT!

Well I am stunned by this revelation, as I am sure you are. The very idea that downloadable content — actual content — might very well be possible from a studio that is not thinking about downloadable content completely blows my mind.  Harrison did not stop there with the mind-boggling shockers. He went as far as to say that Rare will “think about what’s next,” suggesting that one day, the possible DLC might actually real eventually!

So, you heard it here first — Rare really might one day think about possible DLC for Banjo-Kazooie, maybe! Only on Destructoid will you find this kind of sensational news, unless you happen to read the Web sites Destructoid sources it from.
