In all the bustle of the Mega Man anniversary celebration, we failed to mention that Final Fantasy just turned 25 as well! Yep! On December 18, the very day after Mega Man‘s birthday!
Ah well! It’s a big enough franchise that it doesn’t need our added support. Doesn’t mean it doesn’t deserve a little recognition in the form of song!
“Ballad of the Mages” is a puppet music video by brentalfloss, which already makes it super awesome. But it doesn’t end there! Brent voices the Red Mage, another YouTube singer by the name of Madeline Olsen voices the White Mage, and Random a.k.a. Mega Ran himself voices Black Mage — very appropriate!
