Badman series jumping to NGP? Sounds like it

Word on the street is that the dungeon-building Badman series will show up on NGP next. At least, we’re led to believe such things after this goofy tweet by the Lord of Destruction himself. Seems like the next plausible step, wouldn’t you say?

What I want from the NGP — no matter if it ultimately succeeds or fails — is simple: offbeat, relatively simple games from Japan that are designed with the “Portable” part of Next Generation Portable in mind. In other words, more titles like Patapon, Patchwork Heroes, and What Did I Do to Deserve This, My Lord!?

I know not everyone was keen on the rear touch pad, but the possibilities are certainly there for intriguing mechanics. The Badman series in particular could greatly benefit from it.
