Badland’s Doomsday levels aren’t going to be easy

Try three of them for free

Badland is one of the rare few iPad games I’ve played and it’s nice to see developer Frogmind able to continue expanding it post-release. The first themed level pack, Doomsday, adds 10 tough single-player levels and four “super challenging achievements” for $0.99. It’s out now on iOS where players can try out three of the levels for free.

In writing to tell us about the level pack’s App Store launch, the studio expressed that it was nervous about how players would take news of an in-app purchase. I don’t know that there’s much to be worried about, though. This content — what’s shown in the video — looks awesome.

Frogmind says proceeds will go back into making more Badland. Further updates are planned.
