Azure Striker Gunvolt: Striker Pack is coming to the Switch

Shoot through both games this summer

Inti Creates seems to be just fine making its living off of Nintendo. The developer has already launched the wonderful Blaster Master Zero for the Switch and 3DS, it was announced the other day Mighty Gunvolt would be getting a sequel on both devices, and today it revealed the Azure Striker Gunvolt: Striker Pack will be making its way to the Switch this summer. Yes, this is the second mystery project Inti Creates is debuting at BitSummit.

I completely forgot to buy either the Striker Pack or just Azure Striker Gunvolt 2 on the 3DS last year, but now I may just wait for this Switch version. According to the press release, the Striker Pack will run at 60 frames per second on the Switch.

It will also feature a brand new song, HD rumble support, a new layout that combines the two screens of the 3DS into an “intuitive one-screen layout,” pro controller support, game balances – including changing the Kudos system from the first Gunvolt to that of the second – and will include all of the DLC from the 3DS version. I asked if that means Switch players will also get the Shovel Knight content and will update this story once I know.

Azure Striker Gunvolt Striker Pack will release August 31. I have asked if it will be both a retail and eShop release as the press release did not specify and will update this story when I have an answer. There is no word on how much it will cost.
