Awesomenauts gets an official Creeper skin

But you’ll have to earn it

As part of patch 1.13 for Awesomenauts, the 2D MOBA has a new skin for Clunk that models him after The Creeper from Minecraft. It’s a great fit for the explosive character, and better yet, it won’t cost you any money to access. You will, however, have to earn it.

Playing off those viral achievements we’ve seen in multiplayer games before, you’ll need to slay someone rocking Creeper Clunk to earn the skin. Given the immense size of Minecraft‘s player base, I’m hopeful that this collaboration between Mojang and Ronimo can get more people into Awesomenauts. I’m tired of being killed by the same group of active players!
