Konami is warning Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain players about a bug that may corrupt their save file. To avoid it, do not select Quiet as your buddy for mission 29 or 42. That’s it.
The issue is “known to be present” on all platforms, according to Konami. “We deeply apologize, and appreciate your patience for further announcements regarding this issue.”
Now that I have a tranq sniper for Quiet, I’m naturally bringing her on most of my excursions. Thank goodness I’ve been screwing around with side ops and haven’t hit mission 29 yet.
