This is just a friendly reminder/demand. Cold Beam Games’ stellar music-themed shooter Beat Hazard is on Steam, and you all need to go buy it. The game is absolutely fantastic, and if you have any taste and decency, you’ll add it to your wish list at once.
I have just been glued to the thing for about an hour. It’s a bit like Audiosurf in that it uses your own music library to craft a game, but rather than a weird puzzle game, it’s a visually stunning shmup that gets more and more crazy as you pump up the volume. Seriously fun stuff.
We’ll crack out a review of it soon, but you can consider this the official endorsement. Lovely stuff. Go buy it.
