Atlus/Sega talk about possibilities of further PC releases

Could Catherine Classic lead the way for other hits?

Yesterday, Sega/Atlus broke the habit of a lifetime by publishing one of their titles, Catherine Classic, onto PC. There’s also the possibility that the marriage between Atlus and the Steam platform won’t end there, this may be just the beginning.

“We wanted to give the PC audience the opportunity to experience Catherine for the first time as it was originally released,” Sega said in a statement to PC Gamer. “Catherine Classic is the perfect way to accomplish that goal”.

Also, very much of note, was the following “We hope to have more exciting news to share from Sega/Atlus in regards to publishing on PC in the future”. Of course, this confirms absolutely zip, but no doubt has gotten a bevy of Persona fans (including this cat) twitching with excitement. While there’s nothing to go on right now, it seems that following the launch of Catherine Classic, Atlus may be warming up to the idea of pushing their wares to a wider audience.

Catherine Classic is available now on PC.
