Atlus announces Master of the Monster Lair for Nintendo DS

I dare to say it, and to say it here: Atlus is my new Square. No, their styles have never looked the same, but what I mean to say is that the unique selection of games highly relevant to my interests seem to consist mostly of Atlus titles these days, and while I wait through eternity for Square to decide to release a demo of Final Fantasy XIII, I’m quite content to spend my free time with Atlus, thank you very much.
The latest RPG from Atlus is called Master of the Monster Lair and mostly focuses on dungeon building and exploration, placing the creation of the dungeons themselves in your hands. You can choose from over 20 different types of rooms, which then generate different sorts of monsters for you to fight. The wireless connection also allows you to share your dungeon designs with friends. Did I mention there’s also a talking shovel?
Master of the Monster Lair will be released September 2nd, 2008. We’ll bring you more info on this cute little dungeon crawler as it comes to light.
