Astro’s Playroom looks like more of a good thing on PS5

All around pleasant vibes in this free pack-in game

Astro Bot Rescue Mission was a shockingly great 3D platfomer for PlayStation VR that not enough people played. Now, the little bot is back with Astro’s Playroom from Japan Studio and Team Asobi.

During Sony’s PlayStation 5 showcase today, Astro Bot hopped out of a DualSense controller, and that should’ve been my first clue that Astro’s Playroom is a pack-in. The game will be “pre-loaded on PS5” and each of the four platformer worlds is “based on PS5’s console components.” Teach me, Astro Bot!

I’m gonna have the trailer jingle in my head all afternoon.
