Assault Android Cactus leaves early access on September 23

Now for the sequel, Fight Robot Grape

I’ve been keeping track of Assault Android Cactus since 2013. The twin-stick shooter has been in early access all this time, and has evolved into a pretty dang fantastic game throughout the process.

Now, developer Witch Beam has announced the game will be leaving early access on September 23 on PC, Mac, and Linux. The game will also hit PS4, PS Vita, and Wii U in Q1 2016.

You can see the trailer for the game up above, which has some kind of janky lip-syncing, followed immediately by a frankly ludicrous amount of explosions.

Side-note: the Vespula boss fight is evil, and it took hours of my life trying to beat my high score against her… fuck you, Vespula.

Disclaimer: I’ve regularly spoken to the developers of the game since 2013, and I was given a code for the game back then too.
