Assassin’s Creed Unity’s free DLC is a week away, and it looks too spooky

Human remains will do that

Assassin’s Creed Unity was mostly an adventure that took place on the crowded Parisian streets, all jam-packed with people. The game’s first add-on looks to be similarly populated — not by lively dissenters, but by the skulls, bones, and spirits of the post-alive.

Ubisoft announced today that the Dead Kings DLC, which is free for all Unity owners, will release on January 13. In the accompanying cinematic trailer, we see that much of Arno’s time is spent in the Saint Denis underground selectively touching human remains and swinging sharp weapons on rope bridges.

Anyone that’s interested in Arno’s Big Catacomb Adventure, but hasn’t yet pulled the trigger on the base game might find some use in an Amazon deal that bundles Unity and Black Flag together for under $30. For those that already own Unity, nothing to do but sit back and wait for the deceased royalty.
