Assassin’s Creed: Unity gets a shaving cream promotion

Haha I felt so ridiculous typing that

Limited edition shaving gels.

That’s where we’ve progressed as a society. For a “limited time” you can get a can of Edge shaving gel at your local retailer and unlock special items for Assassin’s Creed: Unity. All in all, you get a sword, armor, and assassin’s hood (all of which aren’t really elaborated upon).

Considering the underwhelming quality of the optional items, I don’t think this is worth rioting for, but of course it’s still utterly ridiculous. Ubisoft has a version of the game that runs over $100 in some regions, and yet it wants people to buy shaving cream to get everything. Shaving cream.
