Assassin’s Creed is coming: Six new screenshots to whet your appetite

I went to GameStop last week to pre-order my collector’s edition copy of Assassin’s Creed and was disappointed on two accounts. One, I was told that I just missed the cut-off for collector’s edition reserves (curses!), and two, the Xbox 360 version was mysteriously slated for release a week after the PS3 version. The good news — they were wrong!

Assassin’s Creed hits stores this Wednesday, November 14, and we couldn’t be happier. My hands-on time with the game has me amped to play more, and early reviews of the game have been overwhelmingly positive. Ubisoft are adding fuel to the hype, and have released six more screenshots for our amusement. And believe me, we are very amused.

Not pumped about Assassin’s Creed yet? What, Kristin Bell isn’t doing it for you? You should be listening to the soundtrack to get yourself in the mood. Are my five reasons to want to play the game not good enough for you? Check out what producer Jade Raymond told us about the game at Tokyo Game Show; maybe she can change your mind.

In any case, we know there are a lot of games coming out this holiday — will Assassin’s Creed be one of them?
