You’ve seen many developer diaries, but none like this, one where the developers are forced to wear robes and look menacing under low lights. It’s for Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood, and while I’m sure all of these guys will regret agreeing to the robe thing, they look to be making up for it with an awesome game.

It’s not a sequel (we still expect an Assassin’s Creed III), and it’s not an expansion (this is definitely a fully-realized retail game). Perhaps one of the developers puts it best, calling it a “new season of a great TV show.” Apparently there was just too much story to cram into Assassin’s Creed II, and Brotherhood looks to continue that and then some.

We’re talking potentially awesome multiplayer, an all new single-player story, new gameplay mechanics, and more. Sign me up.
