While I always thought Twitter was just a way to let people know what I was eating for lunch or passive-aggresively complaining about things, Ubisoft’s marketing has other ideas.

The Assassin’s Creed II Twitter Experience has players (a.k.a. Twitter users) battling and assassinating each other online. All you need to do is register at the official site, which will then match you up with other Twitter users willing to play. Players will then essentially spam twitter with attacks, game masters picking up on words like “chop” and “hack,” before being told of success or failure.

The official site will allow you to track assassination attempts in real-time, as well as participate in an “Aggression Mode,” which lets you attack up to five enemies at once.

The site and “Twitter Experience” launches today at 12:00PM PST, so if you use Twitter, prepare yourselves for floods of messages like “Chop @xXAssasinBoyzXx” and “@EzioPlaya4Lyfe just got hacked.”
