IT’S A TRAP

[Sup Holmes is a weekly talk show for people that make great videogames. It airs live every Sunday at 4pm EST on YouTube, and can be found in Podcast form on Libsyn and iTunes.]

[Update: Show’s over folks! I made an ass of myself and asked for John to hire Yacht Club Games to develop a NES-style Darkwing Duck game in Disney Infinity 4.0. You can see how that went, as well as learn all about the ins and outs creating one of the most star studded games in the history of the medium, when the rerun on the show goes up this weekend. In the meantime, here’s a trailer for Disney Infinity‘s new Star Wars content. It’s pretty darn good.]

Most AAA developers and publishers haven’t had the guts or the power to appear on Sup Holmes in the past, but that all changes on October 1st at 8pm EST when VP of Production at Disney Interactive John Vignocchi joins us for a live stream broadcast about Disney Infinity 3.0, how he got his start in the industry, the influence of other Marvel, Star Wars, and Disney games past and present on his work, and a lot more.

You’ve got about 24 hours to throw some questions for John in the comments below, so don’t be shy. You can ask him about the rise (and potential fall) of the “toys to life” business model of in-game content distribution, about the challenge of adapting hundreds of the world’s most beloved characters into both toys and games, about his favorite Jar Jar Binks moment, about lesser known characters you’ve love to see in future Disney Infinity installments, or absolutely anything else that strikes your fancy.

We’ll be reading your screen name on air though, so if you’re currently going by a handle like “ButtFaceInfinty4.0” and you don’t want to make John frown, you may want to log in under a different profile before you post. After you’re done with your inquiry, make sure to join us back here tomorrow at 8pm for the full live stream extravaganza!
