After taking a little break last week, Art Attack Friday is back with artist pyawakit. At first glance, pyawakit’s artwork reminded me of the art style of Ren & Stimpy creator, John Kricfalusi. Not so much the art style in Ren & Stimpy itself, but John’s other, more adult oriented, artworks. pyawakit’s art is very cartoony, yet they all retain a very sophisticated feeling to them.
My favorite pieces in pyawakit’s videogame collection are easily the Morrigan pieces. Something about Morrigan just makes me favor her over Chun-Li or any of the other Capcom female fighters (probably the bat ears). The Persona 3 piece is also very well done and another favorite of mine even though I’ve never played the game.
