The game is finally in beta, but that’s no excuse to horse around and farm Cash and Diamonds inefficiently. If you want to get to Naruto Island and One Piece Island ASAP, you must pick the right Shadows from the get-go. With that in mind, I whipped up an Arise Crossover best Shadows tier list that you can use while on the Solo Leveling Island.

Best Shadows Tier List in Arise Crossover

In the tier list above, you can see all the best Shadows you can recruit in Solo Leveling Island. Vermillion is still the strongest, but Longin just might be my favorite early-game pick, even though it might not have the damage floor Vermillion has.
Anders and Gooshe are also good in the beginning, while I’d suggest avoiding Daek and getting rid of your Soondoos as soon as you recruit a new Shadow. Largalgan is in the middle of the road for the most part, so I wouldn’t say it’s worth focusing too much on him.
All Shadows in Arise Crossover Ranked
Not only will Shadows make or break your gameplan, but picking the right ones might be the difference between zooming through content and seeing Solo Levelling Island in your dreams. So just make sure you follow our Arise Crossover best Shadows tier list, as well as the tips contained within.
S Tier Arise Crossover Shadows
Vermillion is by far the best Shadow in Arise Crossover, at least in Solo City. It has the highest damage, but what I don’t like is the incredibly low chance of getting an Arise. I must have taken at least a dozen tries before I added a Vermillion to my Shadow squad.

On the other hand, you MUST get a Longin as soon as possible. Their incredibly potent fiery spear attack will make you twice as powerful as soon as you get your first Longin. Overall, I’d advise you to get 4x Longin as much as possible, as this Shadow has BY FAR the best special attack. I mean, just look at it!

A Tier Arise Crossover Shadows

Largalgan should be second on your priority list, right after you get that quadruple Longin stack. You can find Largalgans mostly grouped up on the overpass, right ahead of the Soul City spawn point.

I’m not too pleased with the drop chance, either, but it’s all worth it once you have a 4-stack. Although, I’d reckon it’s also a good idea to go 2x Anders and 2x Largalgan.
Gonshee might get a lot of flack, but he’s an absolute workhorse and can definitely help when you’re trying to get rid of Soondoos in the beginning. I wouldn’t say it’s a good idea to stick with them too long—get rid of them once they get to 30-50 damage, as Longin and Anders can easily replace them.

As for Anders, I’m not too fond of him. They are only concentrated in the area below the Largalgan overpass, so at least they’re easy to farm. Nevertheless, if you’re able to get two, they should be a solid core until you get ready to acquire a Vermillion as a Shadow.

B Tier Arise Crossover Shadows
Daek is, at least to me, just a little more advanced version of Soondoo, as it mostly relies on melee strikes with a flurry attack that occurs every 3-4 seconds. While it’s decent to experiment with when you’re still learning, it pales in comparison to LongIn. Largalgan and even Anders at time. Should be dumped ASAP.

Last, and coincidentally the least, Soondoo is the first Shadow you’ll encounter. He’s simply the worst in terms of damage, so other than using 4x Soondoo to get a Gonshee or your first LongIn, I wouldn’t pay attention to him.

How to Change Shadows in Arise Crossover
Once you defeat a mob, you can choose between attempting to recruit them as a Shadow and converting them to gems. You’ll get three chances to have them Arise, and if they do, you’ll see an exclamation mark by the Shadows icon.
Now, click on the icon, select the new Shadow you’ve recruited and just click EQUIP. Once you do this, the weakest currently equipped Shadow will be unequipped. What I liked is that you can make the change in the middle of a fight, so be sure to have those LongIns ready to rain fire from above.

And that’s all there is to it when it comes to our Arise Crossover best Shadows tier list. Experiment with different combos and see what takes you to Naruto Island the fastest. Don’t forget to save for weapons and boats and, of course, check out our other Roblox content.
