Are Last Epoch servers down?

According to the Last Epoch’s Twitter/X, the game’s servers are currently experiencing issues due to high demand in player counts. This rise in numbers is due to the release of Season 2, Tombs of the Erased, and the celebration of Last Epoch’s seventh-year anniversary. Fortunately, the developer, Eleventh Hour Games, is working on increasing the bandwidth to get more players into the game. There will also be some fixes rolling out for chat and in-game store problems that players have been experiencing.

If you still can’t get into the game, you may want to opt for Offline mode. However, Offline mode may prove tricky, as this version can ask you to log in despite refraining from online services. While it looks like you can’t truly play it offline, you can go into Steam and select to play it offline there. Last Epoch’s Offline mode should have all character content available, with the exception of online features like the chat and store.

How to check Last Epoch servers

The best way to check Last Epoch’s servers is through the game’s official Twitter/X account. This page is frequently updated and typically announces any server maintenance periods or current issues.

You can also check the Last Epoch forum’s Announcements section, which runs similarly to their Twitter/X. The site offers technical support assistance, including a megathread dedicated to system outages. We may be looking at a new patch announcement soon to address the issues that have arisen in Season 2. If anything changes, I’ll keep this guide updated with the latest news. In the meantime, if you encounter trouble, refer to our explainer on resolving Error Code LE-52, a common issue that often comes up when server problems occur.
