Ignition Entertainment has just recently released a bunch of brand new screenshots for Arc Rise Fantasia, the upcoming Wii RPG that I am rather looking forward to. They show off some cutscenes, dialog sections, and in-game towns. Everything you need. Apart from the battle scenes, and who really wants those?
Arc Rise Fantasia is putting a heavy emphasis on story, which is one of the reasons I’m anticipating it so highly. Too many RPGs focus on graphics over narrative these days, and I’m glad that Arc Rise is putting writing first. In any case, this game joins Xenoblade and The Last Story to make 2010 look like an excellent year for Wii RPGs. With this one being first out of the gate, let’s hope it’s a good one.
