ARC Raiders’ new roadmap teases upcoming map—but players will have to wait a while before they can try it out

You ready to raid again?

ARC Raiders’ devs at Embark Studios have heard the cries for more content, and a new roadmap revealed today showcases what players can expect over the next few months.

The new roadmap (an era of content called “Escalation”) covers the first third of 2026, all the way through April, culminating in a new map coming to the game. But the updates begin with a January update called Headwinds, which will add a new matchmaking option to only include players at level 40 or higher.

“Headwinds” will also include a new minor map condition and player project, but the bigger drop comes in February’s “Shrouded Sky” update. This update will not only add a new map condition, player project, Raider Deck, map update, and Expedition window, but also a new ARC enemy type.

The content continues in “Flashpoint” sometime in March, also adding a new ARC, new map condition, Player Project, and an update for the loot chicken Scrappy. But the big one is April’s “Riven Tides,” which will finally add a new map for players to explore, along with a new “large” ARC enemy, map condition, and another Expedition window.

The outcry for a new map has been heard since November, so getting confirmation of that is good to see. Unfortunately, it’s still three months away, but the hope is that the new additions throughout each update in between now and then will keep players sated while new games drop along the way.

I’ve definitely trailed off in my ARC Raiding, as I know some others have, too, including friends. Will these updates be enough to keep players in it for the long haul, especially as some big games release around the same time? I hope so, because the game is fun, and I hope to see more content added over time.

“Stick around. After Escalation, there’s even more to come,” the devs teased.
