The ARC Raiders 2.0 update is now live, and it introduces the Frozen Trail content in the game. The update is now available on PC and consoles, and all you need to do is download the latest patch. In this guide, I will go through the major highlights of the new update and what you can expect.

We already had a fair idea of what we are about to get as part of this update: a new map, major enemies, weapons, and more. All these things were already teased to us by Embark previously in September, but we will have a better idea now since the update is live.
First, here are the highlights of all major content.

- New Map Conditions—Frigate & Redirection
- New Enemies — Bully, Skulker, Hydra
- New Weapons — Bantam & Stiletto
- Amplified Weapons
- Revamped Skill Tree
- New Items — Grappling Hook, Basic & Advanced Cameras, Tether Launcher, Yank Grenade, Mountaineer’s Detector, Banjo & Harmonica
- The Outpost, including a new Research Bench
- Lootable “Design” items that unlock craftable Outpost furniture
- Quest System improvements, 22 new quests added
- New Reward Pass system
- Weapon Stencils
- Updated default gamepad mapping
- Reworked Map Selection screen, including visual and usability improvements
- Collector DLC is available now
- Max Stash Size increased by 2 new levels (328 Max without Expedition bonuses)
Skill Tree Revamp
The skill tree has been completely revamped to include new options and improvements for existing ones. Many of the changes are based on player feedback since last year’s launch.
New functionality has also been added to replace the previous large nodes at the middle and end of the branches. We will now have more flexibility and purpose when it comes to investing the skill points.
Weapon Stencils
Players can enjoy a new cosmetic option in the form of weapon stencils. These stencils are available from Premium Plus DLC, and you can also find them on the top side. While these are similar to blueprints, you can apply them to all compatible weapons after you learn one.
Outpost
We now have a permanent home on Topside that we can customize and decorate as we like. There are plenty of furniture designs we can get to decorate our home.
