April’s PlayStation Plus lineup is underwhelming

Welp, Dark Souls III it is!

Word got out early that Dead Star, a top-down multiplayer space shooter from Armature Studios, would be among the games offered to PlayStation Plus subscribers in April. Some of you weren’t feeling it based on the trailer, but I wanted to try it (which isn’t something I can say for everything on PS Plus).

Looking over the full list now, Dead Star is actually the one I’m most interested in. Rough month.

PlayStation 4

• Dead Star
• Zombi

PlayStation 3

• I Am Alive
• Savage Moon

PlayStation Vita

• A Virus Named Tom
• Shutshimi

I’ll probably also wind up downloading Zombi, though I can’t imagine it’s as good without the Wii U GamePad functionality (this is an altered version of Ubisoft’s 2012 survival horror title ZombiU).
