Yesterday Patrice Desiléts, the original creative director for Assassin’s Creed, left Ubisoft and today he Tweeted about another Ubisoft employee losing his job. Desiléts shared on his Twitter, “Thinking of my good friend and producer @JFBoivin who also got fired yesterday. I’m sharing your support with him…”

Jean-François Boivin, the production manager on early Assassin’s Creed titles, left Ubisoft to go work on a project at THQ with Desiléts back in 2010, and he returned to Ubisoft when THQ went under. Polygon was able to reach out to Ubisoft and confirm that Boivin had left the company.
