Another de Blob isn’t totally out of the question

The IP now lives on with Nordic Games

Nordic Games has picked up yet another property from the defunct publisher THQ. This time, it’s de Blob, a cute 3D puzzle-platformer about a blob who paints a drab city with its body.

“We are excited about what the future holds for this polychromatic extravaganza as the newest addition to our portfolio,” said business and product development director Reinhard Pollice in a statement. “We will evaluate opportunities with the existing games, as well as potential sequels.”

Bringing both games to PC would be a lovely start. The original de Blob was one of the many Wii exclusives I regret skipping. Didn’t give that system much love at the time.
