However, with so many units available on release, it can be challenging to choose which units to roll for. With that in mind, we prepared the following Anime Raid tier list to help you use your Gems wisely and summon only the best units currently available.

- S-tier: Meta units that outclass all others in the late-game, even at low ascension levels.
- A-tier: Units that are useful in the late-game when ascended to the max.
- B-tier: Excellent early-game units that can carry you through most of the Story stages.
- C-tier: Units that are only useful very early on, in cases where you have no better options.
In the tier list above, we ranked every unit in Anime Raid based on their overall viability in all game modes, while taking into consideration their damage, defence, HP, critical chance, and most importantly, skill properties.
We tested every unit at level 45, with optimal enchants and A-tier stats across the board, in the Jujutsu School Act 15 Story Stage on Hard difficulty, the most difficult stage currently available in the game. Based on the collected data, Bald, Ichi (Mask), Strongest Curse, and Tornado are the best DPS units in Anime Raid, as no other unit can match their DPS potential. You will need tank units to protect them, so bringing units such as Ocean King and Carbon Dealers is a must.
Anime Raid Meta Explained and Best Early and Late Game Team Comps
Currently, the best squad composition you can run in Anime Raid is two tanks in the front, followed by either one or two supports, and two of your main DPS units far back. How to Get Units in Anime Raid
You can obtain new units in Anime Raid by summoning them on the Standard and Mysterious banners. Each banner has its own pity counter, with a guaranteed Mysterious unit every 300 pulls. The Mysterious banner unlocks after you reach player level 10, which is pretty easy even with starting units. So, it is advised to save your Gems until you can pull on the improved banner.
How to Ascend, Enchant, and Reroll Talents on Units
Immortal enchants can basically double the DPS or survivability of your units. 
You can reroll individual stat talents or all of them at once. 
With each ascension, the stats of your unit exponentially increase. 
Each skill upgrade increases the damage scaling of that skill. 
Equipment pieces grant your units various bonuses, such as increased damage, defense, and HP.
There are several ways to upgrade and boost the stats of your units in Anime Raid:
- Ascension: Each unit can be ascended, which buffs all of its stats, using the fragments that you obtain by summoning the same unit on one of the banners. Every few ascension levels, the number of fragments needed to ascend that unit increases.
- Levels: By completing stages and feeding units, you can continuously increase their stats over time.
- Enchants: For the most part, rare enchants are better than the rest, with a few exceptions.
- Talents (Stats): By rerolling the talents on a unit, you can buff each of its stats by up to 30%.
- Skill upgrades: Skills are the primary DPS source of every unit. Therefore, leveling them up on your main DPS units is a must.
- Equipment: When completing a story stage, you will always receive a piece of gear that can be equipped on a unit. Each unit can equip a helmet, pants, clothes, necklace, and a ring. The sub-bonuses on these equipment pieces are what you should be looking out for, as they can drastically improve the stats of your units.
Farming Skill Books, Enchant Crystals, and Talent Crystals
If you are looking to get the best enchants on all of your best units in Anime Raid, you will need a lot of Enchant Crystals. Thankfully, these crystals and other materials, such as Talent Crystals and Skill Books, can be consistently farmed by completing challenges, which rotate every 30 minutes.
