Complete Anime Infinity Unit Tier List (July 2025)

Updated on July 1, 2025: Updated all three tier lists with Seven Deadly Sins units and Gometa.

When considering the best units in Anime Infinity there are a lot of factors to consider like ground/hill, elements, awakenings/evo, etc. That’s why I’ll create two tier lists one for beginners and one for mid-to-late game to cater to both newer players and experienced ones. Here’s my complete Anime Infinity tier list for units.

Anime Infinity Unit Tier List – Beginners

This beginner or early-to-mid game list of the best units in Anime Infinity focuses on players Level 15+ who have access to LR and SCT units but not Awakenings. It’s a list of the best units to get you started but take a look at the late game tier list below as well to check which Awakening/Evo units you want to go for. Note that this isn’t a true list of the best units in the game since Awakenings are a must-have for some units to be competitive. I left out units below UR since you usually want to replace them with higher rarities ASAP.

S-Tier No-Awakening

Unit	Notes
Estarassa SCT	• One of the best DPS units in the game and the Seven Deadly Sins set • Amazing for speed running progression early to mid game and then his Awakening is one of the best for late game and Infinity
Gometa SCT	• Exceptionally strong compared to rarities lower than SCT • A decent SCT to get but not the best one • Will carry you through progression but I don’t recommend him for end game and Infinite
Goki (Daima SSJ4) SCT	• One of the best DPS units in Anime Infinity both for early as well as mid-to-late game • Get via Dima Infinite on Nightmare
Najemba SCT	• Get via Invasions using Hell Candy or random drop • One of the best units in Anime Infinity • Takes a while to grind but it’s worth it • Evolution item is in the Invasion shop
Ulquorin (Espada) LR	• Great LR DPS • Really worth investing in and grinding since the Awakened/Evolved version is the best LR evo in the Anime Infinity
Julis SCT	• Amazing support unit for any team comp • Serves as a good off-DPS in early progression
Vegata LR	• One of the better LR DPS units • Really good when evolved too but requires grind
Manipulator UR	• Amazing support for all stages of the game but especially early • Easy to get and useful in any team composition due to the Slow

A-Tier No-Awakening

Unit	Notes
Melidas LR	• Assault Mode Melidas is one of the best Seven Deadly Sins units for progression • He’s worth Awakening because his Berserk Mode makes him one of the best Awakened LR units in the game
Bam LR	• A great alternative to Meliodas and pretty much packs a similar level of power
Marlin LR	• An amazing Support for any line up for both early, mid, and late game • Great for Infinite too
Natsa LR	• Great LR unit to get on Summons to carry you early • Note that the awakening is okay but not good for Infinite
Grammjow SCT	• Underpowered compared to SCT units but still out damages many beginner units • Easier to get than other SCT units
Laxas SCT	• Better than UR but still needs a buff • Great for stun maps
Sato UR	• The only economy unit in the game • Offers great farm but he’s better later for Infinite
Shin UR	• The best UR DPS-wise • Easy to get to carry you early
Mab UR	• Not the best UR but I only put him in A-Tier because he’s easier to get for beginners than Brolu and Eduarodo

B-Tier No-Awakening

Unit	Notes
Escanor LR	• Overall a mid LR unit but has a lot of potential when Awakened
Brolu LR	• Decent DPS and a great beginner unit • Easy to Evolve since Dragon Balls are easy to get
Eduarodo LR	• One of the best beginner LR units • Easy to get via Battle Pass

C-Tier No-Awakening

Unit	Notes
Michigo LR	• You can do okay with Michigo and Grey with their base version but they’re much better when Awakened/Evolved • Nothing special
Grey LR	• Excels more as an Awakened Unit • The base version is mid

D-Tier No-Awakening

Unit	Notes
Magumi UR	• Really underpowered, needs a buff badly

Anime Infinity Tier List – With Awakening

This is the true Anime Infinity tier list taking into account both Awakenings and how well a unit is in Progression vs Infinite. Note that some units here are for damage while some are supports and Sato is money generation. Check out my reasons below for each unit.

SSS-Tier Awakening

Unit	Notes
Najemba (Dimension) SCT	• You’ll have to grind Invasions for Hell Candy but it’s incredibly worth it since Najemba is one of the best DPS units in Anime Infinity • Amazing both for progression stages and Infinite Evolved with Dimension Sword from the Invasion Shop • Get from Infinite
Estarassa (Commandment) SCT	• The best DPS/Support Hybrid in the Seven Deadly Sins set • Great for late game and Infinite
Awakened Seven Deadly Sins LRs	• Some of the best LR units in the game when evolved • Each one works great for Infinite and progression
Goki (Daima SSJ4 Adult) SCT	• One of the best DPS units in the game along with Najemba • Also great for any mode • Must-have on Invasions • Get base version via Dima Infinite on Nightmare
Ulquorin (Ressurection) LR	• One of the best evolved LR units • Competes with SCT DPS • Easier to evolve than SCT units

S-Tier Awakening

Unit	Notes
Julis (Time) SCT	• One of the best supports in the game • Must-have for Invasion and Infinite IMO • You can get the base version as a Banner 2 Summon
Gometa (Super) SCT	• The best DPS in A-Tier but is just a little weaker or has less utility for S-Tiers
Grey (Destruction Bow) LR	• The Awakened/Evolved version is drastically more useful than the base version • Easier to get and evolve than SCT units • Meta for progression and decent for Infinite
Vegata (Super) LR	• One of the best LR DPS • Amazing for Infinite • Decent for progression
Sato UR	• Amazing for Infinite • The only cash generation unit currently • Better for late game than early game
Manipulator UR	• Amazing Slow for supporting other DPS units • Good for all modes as a support • Easy to get

A-Tier Awakening

Unit	Notes
Grammjow (Espada) SCT	• Still a good unit but needs a buff • Underpowered compared to other SCTs
Marlin LR	• Excellent support unit for any stage and mode in the game
Michigo (Vasto Lorde) LR	• Not the best for progression • Amazing on Infinite • Situational
Eduarodo LR	• A great support • Easy to get via the Battle Pass
Lexas (Dragon Slayer) SCT	• Really great on stun maps • Otherwise needs a buff since he’s a little underpowered
Brolu (RAGE) LR	• Really easy to evolve • Highly accessible and decent unit if you’re starting out evolving

B-Tier Awakening

Unit	Notes
Natsa (Fire Dragon King) LR	• Underpowered for Infinite, I wouldn’t recommend him • Decent for progression but could use a buff

Anime Infinity Infinite Tier List

Last but not least let’s outline the best units in Anime Infinity for the Infinite mode. This is the hardest game mode in the game and the best for grinding so it’s crucial to know the Meta units in terms of ground, hill, and support. Note that I’ll separate Support and Farm units since they’re crucial in this mode in addition to the Meta damage units. Other than that, the individual comments for each unit are the same as in the tier lists above. Sato is the MVP here because he’ll keep stocking you with cash while the Supports apply debuffs to enemies as your DPS units blast wave after wave.

Beginner Tip: Note that I included SR and SSR units because beginners should also go into Infinite for farming. If you don’t have higher than SSR then Ramuru, Cursed Sin, and Zemitsu are excellent for their rarity.
