Angry Birds, which was only just released on the PlayStation Network in January of this year, has become the best-selling game on the platform. Think of any other big PSN game and Angry Birds has outsold it. Wow. Just… wow. That’s some selling power.
This info comes via Lazard Capital Markets analyst Colin Sebastian. Though he didn’t give any specific sales figures, he did say that PSN now has “75M registered accounts WW (half of which are in NA), with over 1.4B pieces of content downloaded since launch.” He also noted that PSN is becoming increasingly popular amongst more casual users.
