Remember the Destructoid Community Album initiative by Dtoider AlphaDeus? He asked staffers and fellow community members alike to pitch musical themes that best represented their personalities, then he made songs tailored to each person. Weren’t those simply the cat’s pajamas?
The whole project is an incredibly heartfelt expression of love and passion, and we can’t thank Alpha enough for doing it. For certain reasons, the original volumes were taken down. Fortunately, Alpha combined both parts into one super album and put it up on Bandcamp, available for whatever amount you wish to chip his way.
Speaking of “chip,” AlphaDeus has just released a compilation album entitled And Chips, consisting of select tracks from his albums From Alpha to Omega, Nonsensicals I, II, and III, and of course the Destructoid Community Album. If you haven’t heard his other music, this should give you a nice sampler platter of synth and chiptune tracks. Best of all, it’s free.
Show the man some love for his hard work. He deserves it!
