Anarchy Reigns delayed to 2012

Anarchy Reigns, the latest balls-mental action title from Platinum Games, has been pushed back to next year. Prepare to throw your cat out of the window in pure, unadultered rage.

The postponement was quietly announced on the game’s Japanese site, where it was given a rough January 2012 release date. No reason was given for the date change, although this happened with Bayonetta as well — the game was scheduled for a competitive quarter of the year, then pushed back to avoid it.

So far, only the Japanese wing of SEGA has made any formal acknowledgement of a delay. We’ll have to see what the territories say for themselves.
