Ring in the new year

It has been a bit of a wait for Amplitude, Harmonix’s 2014 Kickstarter success. It was originally slated for release in March of 2015, but was pushed back a few times to January of 2016. Still, a year is nothing if you consider the last game in the Frequency/Amplitude series came out in 2003.

In a backer update, Harmonix announced the official release date of January 5 on PlayStation 4 for $20. Backers who pledged $40 or higher during the Kickstarter campaign will get early access on December 23. The update is specific about PlayStation 4; no word is given on the PlayStation 3 release.

Along with the release information, Harmonix included a launch trailer and the final track list (below the video).
