Amazon Instant Video is now on the Wii

That’s Wii, not Wii U, thank you kindly

Remember when Amazon Instant Video hit the 360? How about the Wii U? Well now you can enjoy it on your brand new… Wii?

Yes that’s right, Amazon’s popular video viewing app is now available on the Nintendo Wii. Whether this late showing is Nintendo’s fault or Amazon’s is yet to be known, but at least it’s there.

For those of you who don’t use the app, it’s basically a combination of Netflix (with a Prime subscription) and video on demand, and it’s probably, pound for pound, my favorite media source.

If you have Prime, why not spend your day catching up with Downton Abbey?
