Amazon Gold Box has Xbox 360 deals all day long

It’s time again for the Lightning Round! All day long, Amazon.com will be having time-based deals on Xbox 360 games as part of their daily Gold Box promotions. And, as usual, there’s a list of hints for each of the deals. Here’s the list they have:

  • 6 AM PDT – This first-person shooter combines thrilling combat and puzzle-solving gameplay.
  • 9 AM PDT – Go West, young man.
  • 11 AM PDT – Journey to a land of legendary combat.
  • 12 PM PDT – Street Fighter IV button mashing
  • 3 PM PDT – The first modern day spy role-playing game.
  • 4 PM PDT – Hone your stealth skills.
  • 6 PM PDT – Life 23 years from now.
  • 9 PM PDT – Explore the deadly, shadowed world of an Assassin.

I’m seeing SingularityRed Dead Redemption, Alpha Protocol and Assassin’s Creed II in there. I’d say there’s a good chance of seeing a Street Fighter IV fight stick in there and I wouldn’t be surprised if the 4 PM deal wound up being Splinter Cell: Conviction.

If you’re a disappointed PS3 user, you can still take advantage of the Deal of the Day, which has Transformers: War for Cybertron for both PS3 and 360 at $42.98. That’s at least something.

Good games, hopefully at good prices. Any guesses as to what those more vague clues might be?
