For week two of the Retro Roadtrip Star Path event, there are three routine duties you need to get done. This set of missions focuses on building your friendship with villagers, so start by choosing a character or two you want to build your relationship with.

Spend time with a villager in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Your first mission is to spend 60 minutes with any villager. This can be accomplished by finding any villager you have at least level two friendship with around the valley, chatting with them, and selecting the “Let’s hang out!” option.

Once you’ve started a hangout session, how you spend the required 60 minutes is entirely up to you. I recommend working on whatever specialization you have assigned to the character you select, since they’ll provide useful bonuses for the selected task.

If you’re not sure who to pick, Joy and Sadness are great choices since they’re the newest residents of the valley. Hanging out with them will also help you get the tricky Spark Joy and Embrace the Blues duties done at the same time. This task is fairly easy to get done once you know what it requires, and you get a whopping 70 Tokens for your efforts, so it’s certainly worth finishing.

Give a villager their favorite gifts in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Next up, you need to give villagers 10 of their favorite items of the day. If you want to get this done in one day, you’ll need to give presents to a minimum of four characters. The key part of this quest is giving villagers items they specifically want, not just any presents you desire.

To determine what villagers want, you can either find them around the valley, interact with them, and select the “I have something to give you!” option, or visit the Characters tab on the Collection page. Both methods list every villager’s requested items of the day.

All villagers have three desired presents each day. They rotate on a daily basis, so make sure you gift the presents on the day they’re requested to make progress with this task.

Make small talk in Disney Dreamlight Valley

The last week two routine duty is to have six daily discussions with villagers. All villagers only have one chat available each day, so if you want to get this quest done in one day, you’ll need to talk to six unique villagers. This mission can be completed by finding any villager you haven’t talked to yet around the valley, interacting with them, and selecting the option that appears next to the dialogue bubble.

The exact topic of conversation varies by villager and changes each time you interact with them. This option is always displayed by the dialogue bubble icon, though, so just look for this marker to choose the right option.

With this set of routine duties out of the way, you can now move on to tackling other crucial Star Path tasks. Next, you might work on crafting any refinement item, digging for pottery materialharvesting something white and fluffy, and collecting some shoreline shellfish.
