The never ending debate between anime-watching geeks is called “subs or dubs,” or subtitles with original voices or dubbed with new voices. We take for granted that we have a choice. Ubisoft is thinking about the ones who don’t.

In an effort to make games more accessible to the deaf or hard of hearing, Ubisoft will now include subtitles in all of their internally developed games.

“This commitment entails modifications to some of our game engines, as well as the inclusion of subtitles in the conception phase of game development,” stated the company, according to GamesIndustry.biz.

Far Cry 2, Prince of Persia

and Shaun White Snowboarding will be the first titles to recieve the subtitle treatment.

That’s pretty cool of you, Ubisoft.
