All Star Tower Defense X Hidden Potential Skill Tree Explained

After you reach player level 18, you will be able to access the Hidden Potential skill trees of your 5-star and above units in All Star Tower Defense X. You can unlock only one of these skill trees per unit. Once you unlock a specific Hidden Potential skill tree, you will be able to allocate nodes on it that increase the stats of your unit. There are also four special skill nodes that allow your units to learn powerful passive abilities.
Unlocking Special Skills and Other Nodes on the Hidden Potential Skill Tree
To allocate a node on the Hidden Potential skill tree you unlocked, you will need Skill Orbs that match the element color of your unit. For example, Jin Sung is a purple unit, which means that you need a Skill Orb (Purple) to allocate nodes on its skill tree. There are two types of orbs, Skill Orb I and Skill Orb II. You will need a large amount of both if you plan on allocating all of the nodes on a specific skill tree.
To unlock one of the nodes that let you choose a special skill, you have to path towards them. Allocating the first special skill slot is easy, but for the other three slots, you will need three duplicates of the same unit. You can also allocate the same special skill up to three times and increase its effects or the chance of it activating.
How to Reset a Unit’s Hidden Potential Skill Tree
If you want to reset the whole Hidden Potential skill tree or any of the special skill nodes for whatever reason, you can do this using the Roka and Doma Fruit items. Roka Fruit resets the whole Hidden Potential skill tree of a character, while the Doma Fruit lets you change an already allocated special skill. You can get both of these fruits from the Trial Shop and by redeeming codes. Keep in mind that when you reset a skill tree using the Roka Fruit, none of the Skill Orbs you spent on it are refunded to you.
