  • Code: 1225

The safe in the Boudoir is probably going to be the first one that most players encounter in their Blue Prince playthrough. There’s a Christmas postcard sitting nearby, and that’s your clue. The combination is 1225, though 2512 works as well in our experience.

Office safe

  • Code: 0303

This one’s a little tricky. First, you’ll need to check the desk drawer and turn the dial to reveal a container, then read the note inside. The note makes mention of a book called March of the Counts, and there’s your clue. March, as in the month, suggests that part of the combination is 03.

Next, pay attention to the count. Look around the room and count the number of count statues, which should come up to three, thus giving you the combination 0303.

Study safe

  • Code: 0812

The clue for the Study safe lies in the chessboard. The king piece is on the D8 tile, which is a reference to the date Dec. 8. And there you have it. Your combination is 0812.

Drafting Studio safe

  • Code: 1108

This clue, if you can call it that, feels complete random and out of left field. If you have the magnifying glass on you, you can get a closer look at the calendar at the entrance. You’ll see two dates: Nov. 7, and the current date which changes depending on how many runs you’ve gone through. The fact that there’s always only two dates visible is supposed to clue you in to the solution: the combination is the date for your second day in Blue Prince, Nov. 8.

  • Code: 0415

This is a fun one. If you cracked the clues of the manor paintings, you’ll unveil the hidden message, “If we count small gates, eight dates crack eight safes.”

In the case of the Drawing Room safe, “small gates” is a pun and it can be spelled as “small gaits.” So with that in mind, look around the Drawing Room and keep an eye out for the paintings with figures who have the smallest strides. You’ll be looking out for the woman and the man with the umbrella, and you’ll see that there are four paintings for the former and 15 for the latter, giving you the code 0415.

  • MAY8

I’ll be honest with you here. I don’t fully understand what the clue is supposed to be for this lock, but it’s very likely got to do with the hidden message from the manor painting clues, “If we count small gates, eight dates crack eight safes.” The only thing that stood out to me was the number eight, and MAY was just one of the very few three-letter words I could try on the lock. And what do you know, the lock code is indeed MAY8.

And those are all of the safe codes and lock combinations we’ve found in Blue Prince. Be sure to search up Destructoid for more tips and information on the game, including how to progress at the Campsite, and how to break through the Security Terminal.
