February is here, and Rust fans have a major reason to rejoice as all planned updates for the remainder of the year have been announced.
With the Naval Rework update all set to launch on Feb. 5, expect some major changes in how boats and sailing work in the game. That’s not all, as each of the three remaining quarters will witness significant content drops along the way, too.

Complete Rust 2026 Roadmap features
The 2026 roadmap can be divided into four broad parts. The update for the first quarter goes live tomorrow, so let’s look at all the confirmed information.
Quarter One update
Quarter one will rework how boats work in general, aside from reworking NPC AI logic, adding missions, and more.
