Palworld 1.0 has added plenty of new things to the game, and it also includes some rare resources that aren’t easy to find. This guide will help you out by listing down the locations of every rare resource that have been added as part of the update. Much of them will require you to access the new areas, aka Sunreach and the World Tree.
Let’s check out where you can find all the rare resources in the game.

All rare resource locations in Palworld 1.0
Before I go on, you should note that there are more rare resources in the game apart from the ones I have mentioned here. However, I have only included those that are entirely new, or they’re tied heavily with the areas/quests.
Soralite
Soralite is a blue-colored ore that’s new to the game. You can find it on one of the floating islands located towards the southern side of the map. You’ll also need to get the Plasma Multicutter tool by unlocking it from the Technology tab.
Once you find the ore, focus the Multicutter towards the rock to break it and obtain your resources.
Hardwood
While Hardwood is a new type of the regular wood, you can find it in older areas. Sakurajima has it blooming all over the island, as you can find the trees pretty frequently. However, you can also find it in all the new areas on Sunreach Islands. If you’re a new player, try to stick to Sakurajima for your supply, since you won’t have access to the new regions in Sunreach and the World Tree.
World Tree Holy Water
This is perhaps the easiest of the rare materials to find. This is a brand-new item you’ll need for crafting several endgame recipes. You will only find it at the World Tree biome. When you first enter the area, you’ll get Holy Water. To find more, you’ll have to defeat Pals that live at in the biome.
Paloxite
Paloxite is yet another resource that’s exclusively found in the World Tree area. Go to the east until you locate the Dusty Ravine Watchtower. You’ll find Paloxite in the wild, and you can identify them from the pink glow. Once again, you’ll need to use the Plasma Multicutter took.
Mythical Wood
The area south from the Dusty Ravine Watchtower is the forest region, and it’s straightforward to find Mythical Wood. There are a bunch of trees you can find at the location that will provide you with Mythical Wood.
If you’re lucky, you might also find the item along the path, as shown in the image above. As long as you’re looking in the region, you should be able to find plenty of Mythical Wood.
Ancient Civilization Core
Ancient Civilization Core is a new item that’s required for crafting items that belong to Ancient Technology. The easiest way to obtain this item is to participate in boss fights. Whenever you defeat a boss, you’ll gain Ancient Civilization Core. If you’re a beginner, your first task is to level up so that you can participate in stronger fights. That will make it easier for you to farm this item.
