All Pokémon Legends Z-A trade codes

Use them to evolve some of your Pokémon.

Trading online in Pokémon Legends: ZA requires you to enter a Link Code in the Link Play menu that’s the same as the one someone else is using at that time. If you don’t have a friend to talk with and agree on a trade code, you can still find other players to exchange Pokémon with using a universal one, especially for ‘mon that evolve by trading.

For ZA, here’s a list of universal trade codes you can use to try and find people to evolve your Pokémon with, or maybe to just unlock that Pokémon’s entry in your Pokédex with a touch trade.

For all the trade codes above to work, you should offer the right Pokémon when pairing with another trainer. The idea is that once you offer your Pokémon that evolves via trade, you will not get them back and will, instead, get that same Pokémon from someone else, which will transform when the trade is done.

For example:

  • John pairs with Anne using the Link Code 0176-0176.
  • John offers Scyther holding a Metal Coat, and Anne does the same. Both parties agree on the trade.
  • Anne’s Scyther evolves into Scizor when John receives it. John keeps Anne’s Scizor.
  • The same goes for Anne, who now sees John’s Scyther evolve into Scizor and keeps it.

If you want to evolve your Pokémon using trade codes and get it back, avoid these universal codes. Find someone you trust to trade with and use a unique code instead, so you can pair for a return trade after the Pokémon evolves.

When trading Pokémon that evolve using a held item, remember to check the offered Pokémon to ensure they are holding the right item. You can usually do that before you accept the trade via the Summary option. Cancel the trade if the item isn’t there.

These codes will only work if enough people are using them at the same time. If you enter the code and find no partners, try again in a few minutes because there might not be enough people using that code yet.
