Everything is down
[Update: The error message on the support page has been removed, and EA posted on its support Twitter account: “Our systems that handle online gameplay, matchmaking, and login are now back online. ^EB.”]
Something is up at EA, and all of their online functionality isn’t working. A post was made on EA’s support site, which reported the following:
“Our systems that handle online gameplay, matchmaking, and login are offline for all of our titles.
This means that you may unable to play online or may get dropped from multiplayer matches, and will not be able to login to EA sites.
We are aware of this problem are we are working hard to fix things as quickly as possible. We apologize for the interruption and thank you for your patience while we fix the problem.”
I wonder what could have caused this. Maybe a squirrel got in and chewed on some cables?
