Phasmophobia 13 Willow Street rework update patch notes

The 13 Willow Street rework update for Phasmophobia is mostly focused on revamping this iconic location. There are plenty of other additions, too, though, so here’s a full breakdown of everything you can uncover in this update.
13 Willow Street rework
The overall look, feel, and aesthetic of 13 Willow Street has been changed while still maintaining the same base layout. As the name of this update hints, most of it revolves around redesigning 13 Willow Street to bring its overall appearance and gameplay feel in line with that of newer maps.
The base layout for this location remains the same, but the decorations, themes of each room, hiding spots, and other such details have been completely overhauled. 13 Willow Street is now a cat lovers’ paradise, with loads of cat trees mounted around the walls and plenty of cat toys strewn around the home.
It’s also only got one bedroom now, with the second one being replaced by an art studio. The garage has become a gym, and the downstairs basement area has been shifted from general storage space to a useful cozy den complete with a bar, game room, bathroom, and much more.
Updated Cursed Possession locations

With the map rework, all Cursed Object locations around 13 Willow Street have been changed. This means you’ll have to relearn where to find each one, as none of the seven items can be found in the same spot as before.
New ghost
There’s a new ghost on the loose, and this one is quite unlike any other entity we’ve encountered so far. The newest ghost joining the lineup is called the Deildegast. To identify this one, you need to catch Ghost Writing, EMF Level Five, and DOTS Projector as official evidence.
This entity also has an array of unique behaviors, patterns, and clues you can watch out for, including the ability to slow it down by displacing items and its speed generally being faster than other ghosts, especially early on in contracts.
New challenge
Like all other map reworks, this one comes with a fresh trial you can tackle while exploring it. You can tackle the Artist’s Retreat challenge to earn a special Sun Seeker ID Card and Badge. This mission tasks you with completing a total of 50 contracts at this location.

Updated map
The reworked version of 13 Willow Street looks a lot different, and the map of this location on the screen in the truck has been updated to accompany this change. Prior to this update, the map of this home was done in the old style, which was plain grey boxes. Now, though, it’s fully in color and showcases all key details found around each room, making it a lot easier to use.
Quality of life changes and improvements
An array of general quality of life changes and improvements designed to improve upon changes made following the player character update have been introduced in this update.
- PC players can now use keybinds to switch between equipment. Items can be bound to the 1, 2, 3, and 4 keys, and can be reconfigured through the settings if desired.
- There is now a keybind to inspect and use the watch at any point. On PC, this control defaults to H, and on console, it’s Left DPAD. You can change the keybind in settings.
- Photo Cameras have been updated to now highlight when evidence is visible within the frame, similar to Video Cameras.
- When capturing media evidence, the submissions that grant the largest rewards or are the most unique will now be prioritized.
- New walking and turning animations were added to fix some issues.
- Removed several animations introduced in the player character update to smooth out the gameplay experience.
- A separate photo can now be captured during an EMF Level Five reading.
- Lots of general fixes to issues that resulted from the player character update.
