The trailer released on Sept. 24 gave us an early insight into what to expect from the mode. While there are new features, like a new vehicle, most of the Zombies’ features will return. Perks remain essentially unchanged, but there are a few tweaks to discuss.

New perks in Black Ops 7 Zombies

There will be 12 perks at launch. While 11 of them are returning from Black Ops 6, there is a new entrant.

A new addition, the Wisp Tea perk summons a wisp after slaying a certain number of zombies. It will start killing zombies in the surrounding areas for around 30 seconds.

The Wisp has a two-minute cooldown and can target every zombie. It will turn around if only one zombie is remaining.

Here are the major and minor augments for the new perk.

Major Augments

  • Mask of Wrath: The Demon deals more damage.
  • Mask of Salvation: The Fox can revive you when active for up to three times per match.
  • Mask of Distraction: The Monkey can attack enemies and deal damage.
  • Mask of Benevolence: The Maiden heals you periodically.

Minor Augments

  • Extension: Increases the Wisp’s lifetime
  • Haste: Reduces the cooldown to summon Wisp.
  • Zombie Sitter: The Wisp will avoid killing the last zombie until the round times out.
  • Fetcher: The Wisp will pick up items and power-ups for you.

All returning perks in Black Ops 7 Zombies

In Season 1, 11 perks will return to Black Ops 7 Zombies from last year. Their in-game effects and augments will remain the same.

  • PhD Flopper: Explosive dive to prone and immunity to self-inflicted explosive damage.
  • Elemental Pop: Attacks can trigger random ammo mods.
  • Melee Macchiato: Replace the weapon with a gun butt with a deadly punch.
  • Vulture Aid: Increase the variety of loot dropped by enemies.
  • Double Tap: Increase weapon fire rate.
