Winning and losing games in Pokémon Champions will often boil down to your Mega evolutions, which represent your strongest monsters. Allowed once every match, Mega evolutions have to be triggered manually. When done, the Pokémon will switch to its Mega-Evolved version.

How to Mega Evolve in Pokémon Champions

To Mega evolve in Pokémon Champions, you’ll need something called Mega Stones. These Mega Stones are only available for the names listed in the tables above. There are different ways to get these stones.

  • You can buy some of them directly from the store by using VP.
  • Some can be unlocked from the premium version of the monthly pass.
  • A few stones are handed out for free as part of objectives/tutorials.

Once you find a stone, hand it to the applicable Pokémon. When you’re in a battle, press the R button to Mega evolve your Pokémon. You can only activate the ability once in every match, irrespective of how many Pokémon have an applicable Mega Stone in the lineup.
