Halloween: The Game has three different endings you can obtain at the end of your playthroughs, and you have to trigger specific in-game actions to trigger them.
In this guide, I will underline all the requirements you need to meet to reach the different endings. Suffice to say, you’ll need to have multiple playthroughs.
All endings in Halloween: The Game explained
There are three different endings to trigger.
- Sewer ending
- Railroad ending
- Cornfield ending
All three essentially refers to how Michael escapes after leaving blood and bodies in his wake.
Sewer ending
This is arguably the easiest one to trigger, and I didn’t have to do anything special. Once you move to the northern part of the map, you’ll see a notification about a potential escape using the sewer tunnel.
Go west, and then to the north, and you’ll find the path. You’ll find some officers along the way, so you have to be mindful of them. Head north until you reach a fence wall with a couple of police officers outside.
Go left, and you’ll find the entrance. Pry it open to trigger the ending cutscene as you escape through the tunnel.
Railroad
Once you’re in the final chapter, keep to the left side of the map. That way, you also get to escape Dr. Loomis without him getting a glimpse of you. As long as you keep heading towards the northwestern part of the map, you’ll find the objective.
Once you get the prompt, you’ll have to beat the timer, which indicates when the train will arrive. Being late will prevent this ending from being triggered on your save.
Once you reach the spot, head to the red lights to trigger the ending, which plays out the cutscene.
Cornfield
For the Railroad, we kept to the left of the map. Now, we have to keep to the right, but right after you start the game. According to player accounts, you’ll get the pop-up to escape with the help of the fields. I have yet to trigger this ending myself.
Additionally, endings don’t change the result, as Michael will always escape. There are no other endings where Michael might get killed or so.
