The Treasure Hunters season in Fortnite features plenty of different Gizmos you can find on your runs. While this isn’t the first time we have seen them, I am delighted that they’re back, and some of them are overpowered.
All Gizmos and how they work in Fortnite
During the Treasure Hunters season, you can find five different Gizmos to add to your collection. All five have unique in-game abilities that activate when you use them.
| Gizmo | How it Works |
|---|---|
| Golden Fireworks | Fires a firework that momentarily displays your username and then drops Sprite Dust. |
| Portable Extractor | You can extract your Sprite without having to reach the main Extractor. Allows you to save time and reduces the risk of you dying in the process. |
| Lucky Locator | Spawns a Buried Sprite Chest. You’ll only get a Sprite that’s absent from your collection. |
| Extraction Accelerator | Drops a Crate at any Extraction Site to extract your Sprites. |
| Sprite Locator | Spawns an ordinary Buried Chest. |
How to get the Gizmos in Fortnite

There are different ways to obtain Gizmos in the Treasure Hunters season. You’ll get Daily Quests to complete that will reward you with Gizmos. As of writing, we only have information about the current one.
- Monday: Two Portable Extractors.
We will have to wait for now to find out which Gizmos will be available throughout the course of this week. Other methods involve opening Pirate Treasure chests where they can drop as rare loots. Finally, you can also find Golden Fireworks, Portable Extractor, and Extraction Accelerator from the Sprite Mastery Track.
