The Fortnite Crew Overhaul changes fundamentally alter how this subscription service works. This includes quite a few big alterations to the system, including:

  • Changing the amount of V-Bucks players get each month.
  • Ending all Crew Pack Outfits.
  • Ending the OG Pass, as this game mode is concluding for now. Fortnite OG will return with a fresh format in late 2027, but it’s unclear whether the OG Pass will come back with it.
  • Granting subscribers and their teammates XP buffs.
  • Removing monthly Crew Packs, which means no more exclusive Crew skins and accessories.

The overhaul to Fortnite Crew introduces a new tiered system. With this system, the amount of monthly V-Bucks you get varies depending on how many months you’ve been subscribed.

When the overhaul takes effect, your tier will update automatically based on how many consecutive months you’ve been subscribed over the past 12 months. And if you’re an ex-subscriber who chooses to rejoin between Dec. 6 and 31, your tier level will be treated specially, updating you to your most recent continuous subscription level from the past 12 months.

Fortnite Crew price

Although most parts of Fortnite Crew are changing, the price isn’t. This means it still costs $11.99 to subscribe and obtain all benefits included in this special monthly service.

When is Fortnite Crew changing?

The overhaul changes for Fortnite Crew officially take effect on Dec. 5. On this date, your tier will be updated automatically if you’re subscribed, and any Legacy Styles you’re owed for past Outfits and accessories will be granted as the monthly Crew Pack system officially ends.
