The scope for gene splicing has increased in Jurassic World Evolution 3, as we can now utilize Experimental Traits. These traits have to be researched, and they add extraordinary characteristics to your dinosaurs, but some of them can be double-edged swords if you’re careless.

Let’s first check out how all the Experimental Traits work.

All Experimental Traits in Jurassic World Evolution 3

The function of an Experimental Trait in Jurassic World Evolution 3 is the same irrespective of the species. However, the number of options will depend on how well-researched a species is. For the best result, you’ll want to be at 100% familiarity with a species and its genes.

Biological ImmortalityAnimals with this trait will age extremely slowly. However, they will be unable to breed.
DomesticatedAnimals with this trait won’t be a threat to guests if they manage to break out. They will also refrain from attacking vehicles, and they can be brought back under control by the Ranger teams.

VenomousAnimals with this trait can inflict poisoning when attacked.

Best Experimental Traits in Jurassic World Evolution 3

As you might have understood from the explanations, not all of them are great to have. However, here are three great choices.

  • Domesticated: This is a great addition for carnivores if you’re tired of them breaking out during storms. While it’s a tad unrealistic, it’s a suitable option to have. However, some of the most ferocious carnivores don’t offer this trait as an available option.
  • Biological Immortality: In Jurassic World Evolution 3, you can’t sell a dinosaur. Instead, you’ll have to spend to have them settled in the wild. Now, you can control how rapidly your population in the cage expands.
  • Hardy: Dino fights can be quite dangerous for your park, and more so if one of the exotic species dies. This trait can be a huge difference maker since it will prevent fatality (as long as the dinosaurs are similar in size).
